Being twenty-something is a very confusing age. People think you should have your life together and know what you’re doing. When really you just feel completely lost and confused in your life. And let me tell you, IT IS OKAY. Even people at 60 years of age still feel like they don’t have their life together, so you don’t have to have it all figured out.
Write down what you love and go do it
In the midst of our crazy busy lives, we often to forget to take a moment for ourselves and do what we love. Make sure you are scheduling in time every week at least to do something that you truly love.
Go on an adventure
Travel is a sure way to help you find yourself. Especially solo travel. Just being out in another city or country all on your own forces you to get to know yourself better. You have no one else to decide what you should do that day, or how you should get from A to B, its all you babe.

Get closer to your dreams
We all have dreams we hope one day will come true, so why not take a step in that direction. When you’re feeling lost this is the perfect time to work on those dreams. It will give you a sense of purpose and reason for being. Think about what your biggest dream is and list some ways you can get there and start working on one of them right now!
Get out of your comfort zone
Sometimes we feel bored and lost in our lives we are continuously going through the same routines every day and every week. Going to get a coffee at the same place at the same time before walking down the exact same street to go to work. You need to change it up a little. Do something you wouldn’t normally do. If you constantly find yourself saying no to things then one time say yes and see where it takes you. I’m almost going to promise you only good will of saying yes for once!
Find your purpose
The way I found my purpose in life was through the ancient Japanese practice of Ikigai. Ikigai asks you specific questions about yourself to help find your reason for being. This can really help for those feeling lost particularly in their career.
You can download the Ikigai workbook by entering your details here:
I also have a video tutorial to alongside the workbook to help you get the most of it. Watch the video here!
Reconnect with an old friend
Sometimes going back into your past will remind you of who you used to be and bring back a little of that to the future. Catching up with an old friend you haven’t seen in a while can definitely do this for you. Plus it forces you to be a bit more social which is always a good idea when you’re feeling lost.
Repeat your daily affirmation 20 times
I have written a complete post explaining how affirmations work and some examples you can use. Check out that post here. Affirmations will help give your mind focus and bring you closer towards your dreams and goals. Repeating them multiple times a day will help give you the reassurance of what you want in life.
