Isn’t South East Asia a beautiful place, so much yummy food, so many beautiful places to see and everything is basically dirt cheap. I actually don’t know how you can go wrong there.

I spent 6 weeks travelling around South East Asia last year, I went to Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Thailand. There were so many more countries I wanted to fit in but there was just too much to see and not enough time, so I will be back, don’t you worry.

But for the time being here’s how much I spent:

Visa: $170

90-day multiple entry visas. I got this visa from the embassy in Australia, I didn’t get it on arrival.

Flights: $442

I flew with Jetstar and was lucky to get a really cheap flight on a sale they were having. I flew from Melbourne to Ho Chi Minh City Return

Travel Insurance: $211

Contiki Tour: $1,468

I mainly flew with Jetstar or Cambodia Airlines.
